2022 Pennsylvania National Horse Show Prize List Now Available

Harrisburg, PA – The prize list for the 2022 Pennsylvania National Horse Show, to be held October 13-22, at the PA Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, Pa., is now available online here

Entries will open at 12 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, July 20, and can be completed online at entries.showmanagementsystem.com, with entry closing dates as follows:

– Hunter and jumper divisions – Wednesday, August 31 
– 
Equitation and side saddle classes – Tuesday, September 6

Qualifying lists will be made available following the final close of entries on September 6, 2022.

For the first time in 2022, the Pennsylvania National Horse Show will host the US Equestrian/National Collegiate Equestrian Association (NCEA) Junior Hunter Seat Medal Final – East. The two-phase class will be held on Saturday, October 22, and will present junior riders with a unique opportunity to be scouted by NCEA coaches while also vying for the championship win. 

In addition to the NCEA Medal Final – East, the PNHS will again host the prestigious Dover Saddlery/USEF Hunter Seat Medal, the Neue Schule/USEF Junior Jumper Individual National Championship, and the Neue Schule/USEF Prix des States Team Championship.

For open jumper competitors, the PNHS will offer a wide array of USEF 6* Jumper classes, and hunter and jumper riders alike can look forward to the Penn National Championships, featuring divisions for Children’s Jumpers, Adult Jumpers, Low Junior/Amateur Jumpers, Children’s Hunters, and Adult Hunters. 

Over the course of the 10 days of competition, the PNHS will offer hunter and jumper exhibitors more than $650,000 in prize money. 

Presiding over the 2022 event will be equitation judges Mark Jungherr and Karen Healey and hunter judges Rob Bielefeld, Ralph Caristo, Brian Lenehan, and Chris Wynne. Designing the courses for the week will be hunter course designers Thomas Hearns and Alan Lohman and jumper course designers Anderson Lima and Alan Wade.

Hunt Night entries will be accepted by way of a nomination form or a letter from the Master of the Hunt stating the individual or Hunt’s intention to compete. Hunt Night nominations and nomination fees are due by September 6.
