Harrisburg, PA – May 6, 2021 –  While we are (hopefully!) beginning to come out the other side of the COVID-19 pandemic, many horse shows continue to face cancellations, venue changes and budget concerns, and all of us have been forced to adapt.

As we look toward the 75th-anniversary edition of the Pennsylvania National Horse Show (PNHS) this fall, our team is working to adapt in a way that not only allows the PNHS to survive but also to thrive for the next 75 years ahead – but we need your support.

“All of the US Equestrian Heritage Competitions, including the Pennsylvania National Horse Show, have such an important place in our sport, and we want to ensure their longevity for decades to come,” said Susie Shirk, executive director of the PNHS. “This past year has been a challenge for any horse show, but we hope that, with the support of our sponsors, we can come out the other side and make the 75^th anniversary of the horse show one of the best years yet.”

In an effort to allow the PNHS to thrive, several exciting changes have been made to the schedule and to the show’s class offerings – including the introduction of a second competition ring.

However, schedule and class changes and additions are not enough to ensure the longevity of the PNHS. It also takes great support from sponsors and donors.  

This year, we’re asking friends of the horse show to help keep the history and heritage of the PNHS alive by supporting in one of the following ways:

• Becoming a Sponsor – From sponsoring an arena to individual class and division sponsorships, a large number of sponsor opportunities are available for 2021. In particular, sponsors are needed for the show’s newly introduced age group equitation classes and for the all-new children’s and adult hunter and jumper divisions, each of which will feature a $10,000 classic. Sponsorship opportunities begin at $1,500 and can be uniquely customized to match you or your company’s needs. • Contributing to the PNHS Silent Auction – Now is the time when we begin to compile items for our silent auction. It takes product and service donations both big and small to make the PNHS Silent Auction a success, and all proceeds directly support the therapeutic riding and equine rescue organizations associated with the PNHS Foundation.

  Whether it’s a donation of your time and talents as a trainer or equestrian service provider or a product or gift basket from your company, contributing to the PNHS Silent Auction is a great way to gain exposure while supporting a good cause!
