New Leadership at the Top at Pennsylvania National Horse Show

HARRISBURG, PA – The Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania National Horse Show is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Susie Webb as the new Executive Director for the 70 year old horse show.

Ms. Webb has extensive experience in the horse show management world.  Recently, she served as sponsorship coordinator for the National Horse Show.  She was previously Executive Director of the Washington International Horse Show and oversaw the movement of the show from the Landover, Maryland facility to the Verizon Center in downtown DC, its current location.

“We were very fortunate to have a wonderful list of interested candidates for this opening, and even more fortunate to be moving forward with Ms. Webb at the helm,” said Tom Bross, Chairman of the horse show.   “Susie brings a lot of experience to the job and we expect an easy transition.”

“I am so excited to be joining the Pennsylvania National Horse Show team and can’t wait to start work on the 2016 horse show, October 13-22.  The Pennsylvania National Horse Show has such a wonderful history and represents so much of the tradition that is inherent in our sport.  I am honored to become a part of the show and move it into the next decade,” commented Ms. Webb.

Along with welcoming Ms. Webb as Executive Director, Rebecca Kinsley will increase her role with the Pennsylvania National Horse Show Foundation as Foundation Director. In this new role, Mrs. Kinsley will work to enhance fundraising for the Foundation and expand its visibility in the horse show world and beyond. Additionally, Mrs. Kinsley will be exploring ways to incorporate more of the local Harrisburg community into the horse show.

Patty Wise will round out the team and continue on as Director of Development.   Ms. Wise will be involved in promoting and marketing the show and selling and fulfilling sponsorships.
