Pennsylvania National Horse Show Welcomes Presenting Sponsors for Their 73rd Annual Show

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania – September 20, 2018 – The 2018 Pennsylvania National Horse Show (PNHS) is proud to welcome and thank their Presenting Sponsors for its 73rd annual event. A highlighted show on the national equestrian calendar for riders, sponsors and spectators alike, the historic indoor competition returns to the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, PA, October 11-20, for ten days of exciting hunter and jumper competition, offering over $500,000 in prize money!
PNHS expanded its sponsorship program this year with the intention of attracting new sponsors and providing additional visibility to our returning patrons. “Over 30% of our sponsor revenue is new to the show this year. We are delighted to welcome all of our sponsors – old and new – to the 2018 Pennsylvania National Horse Show,” said Susie Webb, Executive Director of the PNHS. “To produce a show of this magnitude would be almost impossible without them and we are so thankful and grateful for their generous support for our 73rd annual event!”

The Daily Dose, sponsored by SmartPak, is returning to provide exhibitors and spectators daily updates of show activities and awards. In addition, in-kind local sponsors have returned including Harvest Seasonal Grill, which specializes in a local, farm to table menu, as the Official Restaurant, while Winter Gardens, a one-stop shop for delicious, ready-to-serve foods, will provide Breakfasts for Riders and Grooms, ensuring they get a great start each day. Official Feed sponsor Cargill, a 150 year-old company that brings food, agricultural, financial and industrial products to people who need them all around the world, will offer an assortment of feed options for the horses.
The PNHS is one of the premier indoor equestrian events in the country and draws the nation’s top hunters and jumpers, featuring many of the top names in the sport, including Olympic medalists and veterans. During the ten days of national competition, 1,400 qualified Junior and Adult competitors from the U.S. and abroad vie for the top prizes, titles, and eight national championships – including the prestigious Dover Saddlery/USEF Hunter Seat Medal Final, and the Neue Schule/USEF National Junior Jumper Individual and Team Championships. “Junior Weekend” takes place October 11-14, followed by “Adult Week” October 15-20, culminating in the thrilling $132,000 Prix de Penn National Grand Prix.
