Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania National Horse Show Foundation appointed new officers and elected Nick Haness as a new member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors during the group’s annual meeting on March 11, 2024.

Newly joining the elected officers as Secretary is Ralph Alfano, who has served as a board member since 1986.

An accomplished hunter/jumper professional, Haness is no stranger to the PNHS, having ridden to numerous championship titles at the show. Haness currently owns and operates Hunterbook Farms, based out of Temecula, CA, where he has been training, importing and producing top horses and riders for the past 20 years. Outside of the ring, Haness serves on the Board of Directors for the USHJA Hunter Committee and enjoys contributing to task forces geared toward the betterment of equestrian sport. In his free time, Haness enjoys spending time at his farm, where he also operates a large and exotic animal rescue.
