PNHS Foundation Grants Available

HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania National Horse Show Foundation is pleased to announce that grant applications are now available on the Foundation website, www.PAnational.org.  The Foundation accepts grant applications through June 1, 2017 and makes awards throughout the summer.

Application can be mailed to the Foundation office at: PNHS Foundation, 720 Limekiln Road, New Cumberland, PA 17070 or emailed to Susie@PAnational.org.

Last year’s recipients included 23 facilities serving therapeutic riders and equine rescue.  Those facilities included: 4-H Therapeutic Riding of Carroll County, Beyond Wishes Therapeutic Riding Program, Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center, Chasing Rainbows, Chesapeake Therapeutic Riding Inc., Days End Farm Horse Rescue, Equi-librium Therapeutic Horsemanship, EquiTeam Support Services, GallopNYC Therapeutic Horsemanship, Glade Run Lutheran Services, Greystone Manor Therapeutic Riding Center, Hope Springs Equestrian Therapy, Horses & Horizons Therapeutic Learning Center, Ivy Hill Therapeutic Equestrian Center, Leg Up Farm, Mane Stream Therapeutic Riding, Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Academy, Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center, Quest Therapeutic Services, Sebastian Riding Association, Slippery Rock University/Storm Harbor, SPCA of York County, Special Equestrians Therapeutic Riding Center, and Talbot Special Rides Inc.

Established in 1999, the Pennsylvania National Horse Show Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization, provides support for therapeutic riding and equine rescue programs. The Foundation makes grants exclusively for charitable and educational purposes to acquaint, teach and train the public in therapeutic equestrian endeavors and to support equine rescue efforts.
